    During recent years, the researchers and managers have focused on organizational learning and learner organization in many organizations, especially didactic systems that, finally it caused that didactic systems consider the learner organization as the target. That being so, understanding whether schools are inclined toward learner organization or not is of high importance. The aim of this study is examining the status of Iran schools in the context of learner organization. Along this, the parameters of learner organization (mental models, personal mastery, shared vision, systematic thinking and team learning) are examined. This study in terms of nature is quantitative research and in terms of the study purpose is practical, and in terms of data collection time is cross sectional and in terms of modality of data collection is survey-descriptive. The statistical population of the study includes 700 people of teachers of school in district 6 of Tehran. The statistical sample is obtained through Cochran formula as 248 persons. The sampling method is clustered and simple random. For data collection purpose, Peter Senge learner organization questionnaire (standard questionnaire, 1999) is used. As the questionnaire is standard it enjoys high validity and also the opinion of the respective
    experts have been incorporated to corroborate the validity. Cronbach alpha coefficient for measuring questionnaire reliability is obtained as 0.880. for analyzing the demographic data, one uses frequency table and diagram and for testing the hypotheses one uses t test using SPSS 19 software. The results from the study show that mental models parameter are at desirable level (above average), shared vision and team learning are at moderate level (near to average) and personal mastery and systematic thinking parameters are at undesirable level (lower than average). In sum, learner organization is assessed at average level.
